Core Theology I has been developed for the non-Orthodox student as well as the Orthodox Christian seeking a deeper knowledge of their own tradition. Its content is the mixture of a broad survey and some fine detail about Orthodox dogmas, including God (knowledge of and faith in), Holy Trinity (understanding the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), creation, Church (sacraments and prayer), evil, the human person, sin, death, and redemption. Ultimately, this course will explore the theology and beliefs of the Orthodox Church in its first millennium.
