Course Description
This course utilizes Edwin Friedman’s Generation to Generation to explore family systems within the context of ministry. It is designed to help students identify emotional systems and generational patterns within congregations and their own family of origin. By applying these theories, students prepare for leadership roles that require a “non-anxious presence” and an understanding of the historical and cultural influences on their vocational context.
