      What is the relationship between an inner, constant thankfulness to God and the Post-Communion prayers of thanksgiving at the Liturgy?

      I think the inner state of thankfulness is just a constant state of peace & acceptance where one appreciates everything as it comes whereas praying the communion prayers requires thought (even if you know them by heart), the reciting of them is still a type of intellectual exercise using more mind than nous.
