This is a comprehensive list of all financial aid available from St. Athanasius. If you are a student, please note that St. Athanasius does not accept Title IV funding. Additionally, all SAC scholarships require a minimum GPA of 3.0. If a student’s GPA drops below 3.0, they are automatically placed on academic probation for a minimum of 16 weeks. Students who fail to bring their GPA up to 3.0 or higher during this probationary period will forfeit their scholarship funds.
The percentage is the amount of the discount and deduction. If a student receives a 40% scholarship, that means they are paying 60% of the tuition.

CLERGY FAMILIES
Fill out the appropriate degree application (and pay the fee), then email registrar@stacollege.org.
- 50% Scholarship: For all clergy (including wife and children) in communion with the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America who are pursuing a degree with St. Athanasius. The clergy includes deacons, priests, and hierarchs.
- 75% Scholarship (same demographic as above) if the student maintains a 3.75 GPA or higher. This scholarship level is not available for the first two courses taken with St. Athanasius. When enrolling for your third course, email the registrar to apply for the 75% scholarship.
- 100% Scholarship (same demographic as above) if student maintains 4.0 GPA or higher. Must have a 4.0 in high school and any transfer of credits to qualify. Email the registrar to apply for the 100% scholarship.
MONASTICS
Fill out the appropriate degree application (and pay the fee), then email registrar@stacollege.org.
- Full Scholarship: All monastics of The Monastery of Our Lady and St. Laurence who have taken vows.
- 30% Scholarship: All other Orthodox monastics in communion with the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America AND who are living in a monastic community in communion with our Archdiocese AND have taken vows.
VETERANS & ACTIVE MILITARY SERVICE
- 30% Scholarship for all veterans and those in active service of all branches of the U.S. Military.
- After we achieve institutional accreditation, our goal is to pursue Title IV funding for veterans who have the GI Bill.
NEIGHBORHOOD RESILIENCE PROJECT SCHOLARSHIP
Neighborhood Resilience Project in greater Pittsburgh, PA is now accepting applications for a full tuition scholarship to St. Athanasius College. The scholarship covers tuition for up to 120 credit hours. This scholarship is intended for a family in the Hill District to help an adult finish college.
