Summer Intensive at Ladyminster in the Colorado Rockies

“But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:18

Description: This intensive takes place at the Monastery of Our Lady and St. Laurence, also known as Ladyminster. Ladyminster is an Antiochian monastery on 600 acres in the Colorado Rockies (about an hour and 45 minutes west of Colorado Springs). Make sure to watch the documentary below to learn more. For several years, the monastery hosted both monks and nuns. As of 2022, the monastery now only has monks.

This is a great way to spend the summer! Also, if someone was considering a monastic vocation, this would also be helpful. During the summer, students will learn more about our core principles of servant leadership, event planning, hospitality, and non-profit management. Online college students, such as those at St. Athanasius College, may be permitted to continue their studies. Students have the choice of attending a session or both. If attending both, students may stay at the monastery during the break from June 28 – July 1.
